The groups which make up the 15th Brigade
A "brigade" in STARFLEET International is the STARFLEET Marine Corps equivalent of a STARFLEET region. A brigade is comprised of units which are generally classified in one of two types: a "Marine Strike Group" (MSG) which is attached to a STARFLEET chapter or a "Marine Expeditionary Unit" (MEU) which is not attached to a STARFLEET chapter.

An aerospace unit taking their name from the nickname of their host vessel's namesake, U.S.S. Lexington also known as "The Blue Ghost". The 16 in the unit number is also related to the host chapter's namesake, CV-16.
942nd MSG "Iron Mallards"

"Non Suscipiam De Excusatione"
A support unit, also know as the 942nd CID or Criminal Investigative Division after a beloved television series, NCIS. Their name, the "Iron Mallards" is based on one of the key character's of the original NCIS series, Dr. Donald "Ducky" Mallard.
